Counting down to the Kooyong Classic

I love summer in Melbourne! The sunshine, the music and the sport, and tennis is up there as one of my favourites to watch live!

The Kooyong Classic remains the premier lead up event for the tennis Grand Slam of the Asia/Pacific, the Australian Open.

This year marks the 27th staging of the event and again promises an intimate setting and up close experience for fans as they watch eight of the world’s top male players grace Kooyong’s historic centre court from Tuesday 13-16 January. I cannot wait to get along and watch the action live.

The event boasts a stellar line-up including Japanese, World #5 and 2014 US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori who returns to defend his Kooyong Classic title and is joined by international stars, Fernando Verdasco (Spain), Feliciano Lopez (Spain), Alexandr Dolgopolov (Ukraine), Gilles Simon (France), Richard Gasquet (France), Jordan Thompson (Australian) and rising Serbian star Filip Krajinovic.

The much anticipated and exclusive Kooyong Classic Launch Party also returns on Tuesday evening, with celebrity attendees (inc Emma Clapham and Tom Hawkins, Rhys Ulrich and Kasia Z), canapés and beverages plus the opportunity to meet some of the event’s international field.

I’m told that that there are a few tickets to the launch party still available to purchase – be quick and snap yourself up some online HERE.
