When I think of Doughboys Doughnuts I start to drool. Well, not quite because that would be a little icky but my mouth certainly starts to water in anticipation of devouring one of their delicious doughnuts.
Located at the Queen Victoria Market, plus with daily drops at several cafes around the city, they’re fast becoming a Melbourne institution with a strong social media presence that, without doubt, has seen a successful summer in the increasingly popular doughnut market.
The Doughboys crew are forever coming up with tantalising new flavour combinations. We’ve seen banana cream with burnt caramel, berry compote with shortbread, and chocolate with freeze dried raspberry and blackcurrant.
Just recently they launched gelato filled creations taking doughnuts to a whole new and unfound level of awesomeness.
Their creations are handmade, dipped on demand and sell like hotcakes. Actually one would think they would sell way better than hotcakes because doughnuts are so in right now.
