Muharam Cafe

A visit to Muharam Café is sure to leave you nothing short of satisfied. Nestled in the heart of Hawthorn this local jaunt, a little brother to the ever popular Sardi, is quickly making its mark on Melbourne’s foodie scene.

What instantly impressed me upon my first visit to Muharam was the store’s extensive and free-range menu.

For breakfast there’s eggs in every which way you could imagine, haloumi is a highlight, fritters are featured and beloved acai bowls even make an appearance.

That’s not to mention the ravishingly good red velvet pancakes with berries and chocolate sauce. I don’t know about you but I’m all for anything red velvet!

It only gets better at lunch with a variety of ciabattas, mouth-watering chicken and steak sandwiches, spectacular salads and brilliant burgers.

Importantly, the food here is hearty. Serves are generous and you certainly won’t leave feeling hungry.

You can tell the folk at this café care about their customers with a cosy surrounding, service with a smile and fabulous food this spot is a must visit for a lazy weekend coffee and brunch.

Muharam Cafe is open from Tuesday through to Sunday from early morning to mid afternoon.
