QV Melbourne is hosting a pop-up cinema every Thursday to Sunday evening in QV Square. The QV Outdoor Cinema is an unusual experience that is unique to Melbourne – the cinema is silent and patrons are given wireless headphones and audio kits for the film. To make it even more enticing, they have a lot of old favourites showing in the lead up to Christmas (Home Alone, anyone?).

The talented team at Epicure have spent months creating a perfect gingerbread village at Melbourne Town Hall. It might be edible, but it looks too good to eat! Pop along to see approximately 500 kilograms of gingerbread, 360 kilograms of royal icing and 150 kilograms of marzipan come to life.

Australia’s favourite outdoor cinema returns for its 2015/16 summer season, showing advance screenings, new release and cult movies on the iconic Royal Botanic Gardens’ Central Lawn.
