Movies Under the Stars at Docklands

Movies Under the Stars at Yarra’s Edge returns tomorrow night at Melbourne’s Docklands with a host of blockbuster hits on the big screen.

This outdoor cinema event is back in 2016 and is the perfect way to experience Melboune’s waterfront in an exclusive location. Pack a picnic, round up your baes and kick-back with some of the best views of Melbourne.

2016 program:
Thursday, 28 January – The Imitation Game (M)
Friday, 29 January – Spectre (M)
Saturday, 30 January – Inside Out (PG)

 

Gates are open from 6:30pm each night, before the feature film starts at dusk (approx 8:30pm). A Made in Melbourne Film Festival short film will be screened as a preview each night.

FREE beanbags will be available to the first 100 movie-goers to arrive. For those arriving later, remaining beanbags can be hired for $8 each. Mirvac, will also be supplying blankets (limited supply) for guests to use throughout the evening.

Some snacks, including coffee and popcorn will be available to purchase, but everyone is welcome to bring their own picnic. Be sure to pack a jumper or a blanket, just in case of a cool change.

 

Gold coin donations will be collected across the series for Kids Under Cover; an organisation that works to prevent youth homelessness by building homes and providing scholarships and mentors for at risk young people.
