Gorman solo runway show

On Saturday we joined hundreds of other fashion lovers and headed to Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Gorman Runway. In true Gorman style, the show did not disappoint and we were treated to a runway of bold and offbeat prints, directional knitwear and a distinctive colour palette that send our heads into a spin.

In a free solo runway show, the atmosphere was electric and models bounced down the catwalk to showcase the hippest looks for the upcoming season.

Inspired by geology and created in collaboration with the Melbourne Museum, the collection features eye-catching prints of rocks, crystals and minerals and brings these to life with gorgeous soft silks and other light and lush fabrics.

Whilst the entire range is an absolute dream, the hero pieces for us have to be the navy satellite sequined dress with gorgeous asymmetric hem, the rocky raincoat, satellite shift dress and the crystal cluster pantsuit – the name says it all.

The accessories collection also mustn’t be overlooked, with a range of striking shades, metallic heels, printed trainers and the signature sparkle socks.
