Winter Wonderland at Hilton South Wharf

This winter, Melbourne’s Hilton hotels are partnering with Ugg Australia to transform guest rooms into your very own personal Winter Wonderland.

I was lucky enough to head into the Hilton South Wharf to experience my very own magical Winter escape on one of the coldest nights of the year.

We were greeted with a lifesize ‘snowglobe’ in the lobby of the Hotel, which my little girl absolutely adored!

We checked in, and then were ushered to our Winter Wonderland room on the 15th floor (helllooo amazing views of Melbourne!).

So what does a Winter Wonderland escape look like? Think a faux snow covered tree, soft twinkling lights, Winter themed room service menu (including mulled wine!) along with luxe fur rugs and cozy cushions from Ugg Australia’s latest range.

Hearing the rain beat down on our windows (which overlooked a spectacular view of the Yarra and the city, naturally) and snuggling up with our themed Winter DVDs was the perfect way to spend a chilly staycation.

Our tray of winter treats that arrived was a delicious surprise – the BEST hot chocolate, along with decadent treats from Ganache Chocolate and toasted marshmallows. Yum!

I was lucky the incredible buffet breakfast the next morning eased my pain at leaving my cosy retreat – there’s nothing like a freshly cooked omelette and juice to distract yourself!

Want to experience a Winter Wonderland escape for yourself? You’ll have to be quick, as these incredible rooms are here for a short time only.

You can book your stay at either the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf or DoubleTree by Hilton – Flinders St between July 4-August 31, 2016 here.
