Cotton On opens in Bourke Street

Last week, Cotton On opened it’s doors in Melbourne’s iconic Bourke Street Mall.

As they celebrate 25 years since the opening of the first Cotton On store way back in 1991, the launch of their new location marks a milestone moment for the brand, as the first CBD flagship store in the country (all praise Melbourne!).

The super-impressive multi level store boasts a huge 1,154 square metres of clothing and accessories and stocks the full range of Cotton On men’s, women’s and home collections as well as Cotton On Body and Rubi shoes.

The development of our Bourke Street Mall store has been such an exciting adventure so far – we’re a global brand but it’s great to be able to come back home to where it all began and open in a location as iconic to fashion as Bourke Street ~ Cotton On General Manager Felicity McGahan

Focusing on a one-of-a-kind experience for customers, the interior of the iconic heritage building pays homage to our city’s famous creative culture with the brand commissioning two local street artists, MEGGS and Beastman, to create unique pieces of artwork along with one-off pieces of furniture especially for the store.

The store is unlike any other Cotton On store in Australia and is set to become the first in a series of iconic flagship stores to be found in Australia and around the globe. It’s all about treating customers to the best possible experience, a place to connect with the brand. I absolutely love it and I’m sure you will too!

If a huge shop with the latest trends wasn’t enough, other key features of the store include a barber (located in the heart of the menswear section) and a unique ‘Studio’ space dedicated to events and partner collaborations throughout the year.

There’s also free WiFi and phone charging stations, which means you can charge up while you shop-til-you-drop. Hell’s yes!

Head in and check it out for yourself…
