1. Check out The Night Markets

The Summer Night Market will no doubt become your weekly Wednesday ritual if you live near the city. Now in it’s 19th year, the Market features delicious global street food, curated bars, artisan stall holders and quirky activations.

There are three live music stages to be found around the historic Market sheds, as well as roving entertainers, buzzing alley communal dining areas and all the atmosphere of a summer festival.

Cinema at the ‘G is back this summer on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February.

This super-cool cinema event will allow us to sit back and relax on the hallowed MCG turf and will feature the yet-to-be-released Lion on opening night, and the Tom Hanks blockbuster, Sully on Saturday night.

4. Try the new Iced-Tea cocktail menu at Melbourne Public

You’ve experienced the rush of an Espresso Martini, knocked back a few Jam Donuts and sipped the afternoon away with a crisp Frosé, but have you tried the newest liquid sensation – the iced tea cocktail?!

Melbourne Public has just launched a series of tea-infused cocktails and they are truly something. With five delicious cocktails to chose from, we recommend ‘tea-sing’ your tastebuds with the The Early of Grey – Gordon’s Gin, Earl Grey Tea, Lemon & Rosemary or Min-Tea Mojito – Pampero Rum, Mint Tea, Lime & Mint.

Find Melbourne Public at Dukes Wharf, South Wharf.
Check out their website here.

5. Be ‘Ball-sey’ and taste test Chapel Street’s latest hot spot

Chapel Street has grown a brand spankin new set of balls in the form of it’s newest hot spot, The Meatball and Wine Bar.

A sleek, sexy and all so lustful ambiance has been set that make this venue perfect for after work drinks, date nights and random foodie adventures with your pals.
