So, let’s catch up for coffee! Let’s meet at 10am at café Journeyman (one of my faves) on Chapel Street. I’ll bring my little pooch with me too. I’ll see you girls soon…
Your furry friend is staring at you with her favourite toy in her mouth and is ready to go out. But it’s not play time, we are going for coffee and we cannot be late. The traffic on Saturday morning may be terrible and we won’t have time to go park first, but I don’t want to let my dog down. Well, visiting Victoria Garden in Prahran could be the place for you!
Victoria Gardens is the perfect dog friendly park for your furry friends if you are planning to go to Chapel Street or into the city (the park is situated less than 1 km from Chapel Street).
It’s perfect for anyone who want to relax and enjoy watching dogs playing with each other whilst enjoying their takeaway coffee. I’ve only ever met friendly dogs at the Gardens so I’m certain your pooch will be meet some new friends.
This is an off-leash park. There is a big oval in the middle where dogs can run around and play fetch. And if you just wanna sit and chill with the girls, your dog can happily play with the other dogs, no worries. There are plenty of seats and lots of beautiful big trees surrounding the oval.
Or if you’re a dog nerd like me who just wants to play with some gorgeous dogs, Victoria Gardens is for you too. My trick is heading to the park with a book and pretending to read it!
I can guarantee there will be lots of dogs coming to play with you and asking for a pat or even jump all over you! I love it.
There is one problem however… your pooch might not want to leave!
I’ve seen so many dogs that didn’t want to leave and keep laying down to the floor with so much disappointment in their eyes like Bruce (five-month-old Australian Bulldog x Frenchie). Paw little fella!
Victoria Gardens is located between High Street and Murray Street, Prahran.
