If you’re searching for a new date night dining spot and live in the burbs, The Butcher’s Bench is for you.
Located at Novotel Glen Waverley, The Butchers Bench has recently unveiled a new menu focussing on the finest quality meats and seasonal produce sourced from around Victoria. The best part is that, if you live in suburbs of South-East Melbourne, it’s the perfect place for a date night, without wandering too far from home.
The Butcher’s Bench’s executive chef Ross Chapman has taken a less is more approach, with a rustic Australian paddock to plate menu. It features signature meaty (as well as surf and turf stye) grilled dishes, served with homemade sauces and sides, including delicious heirloom baby carrots and steak chips.
Keen on something lighter? These dishes are all sorted for you too.
But one rule of advice, save room for dessert! I recommend the black sesame meringue, lemon curd, puffed wild rice and ginger crumb with raspberry dust. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
For the whole date night package, The Butcher’s Bench is located just a super short stroll to both Village Cinemas Century Citywalk as well as Strike bowling in the same centre. Alternatively you can book into a room at Novotel Glen Waverley and make a night of it!
The Butchers Bench is located at 285 Springvale Road, Glen Waverley.
Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
