Minion fever as Despicable Me 3 opens in Melbourne

Minion fever as Despicable Me 3 opens in Melbourne

On the weekend, Universal Pictures Australia invited me along to the premiere of Despicable Me 3 at Hoyts, Melbourne Central.

Greeted by two aloha-styled minions on the yellow carpet, my husband and little man accompanied me to this super-fun unveiling of Gru’s latest instalment… and it certainly didn’t disappoint!

Without giving to much away, the storyline goes a little something like this >

After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother-a brother (Dru) who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps, Gru rediscovers just how good it feels to be bad.

Lucy and the girls also star alongside the villainous twins, in a battle against Brat Boy who shoulder pads and bubblegum bubbles his way though Hollywood, making too much trouble for Gru to handle.

For kids young and old, get along to your nearest cinema asap, load up on the popcorn and get set for Despicable Me 3.

Lipstick Taser!

(lol, had to be said)
