Staycation at Citadines on Bourke Melbourne

Bourke Street Melbourne - Australia

When you next decide to book yourself a little getaway in Melbourne, plan a staycation at Citadines on Bourke Melbourne.

Located in the heart of the city, the Apart’hotel is in the perfect location to experience all the world’s most livable city has to offer. When the team invited me to enjoy a complimentary night’s stay in one of their gorgeous studio apartments last week, I couldn’t say yes faster!

Admittedly t’was my fifth stay at Citadines, having booked myself into the accomodation four times prior to this visit over the past couple of years. I’ve recommended it to my friends and family who have visited Melbourne, or simply wanted to have the ultimate night out in the city. Their serviced apartments (each with separate living and dining areas, fully-equipped kitchenettes and modern amenities) are the perfect home-away-from-home to enjoy some retail therapy, discover the latest musicals, catch sporting events, or even go on a hidden laneway adventure.

At Citadines, you will have the privacy of your own apartment, while enjoying the convenience of a hotel. They also boast a fully-equipped gym, indoor pool, sauna and outdoor sundeck; as well as conference and meeting rooms, business corner and complimentary wifi.

My husband and I checked in on Thursday afternoon and enjoyed a few hours of relaxation time in the apartment, watching the Australian Open on TV and took a quick dip in the pool, before getting ready for date-night in the city.

Flavours of Melbourne

We walked to Lonsdale Street and had some cocktails and tapas at Bomba Bar, then headed to the Princess Theatre to watch The Book of Mormon.

It was such a great evening and after a huge start to the year, we decided to head back to our room and order in some Uber Eats before settling in for an awesome nights sleep in the oh-so comfy king bed.

Our stay was completed with a lovely sleep-in (you hear me fellow Mummas) before checking out and heading to Higher Ground for a late breakfast.
