Counting down to Sofitel Girls’ Day Out

OK girls, get excited and get ready to celebrate the return of spring racing at Flemington this year with the Sofitel Girls’ Day Out.

The Spring Racing Carnival is only around 10 weeks away and last week I was thrilled to go exclusively behind the scenes with the talented VRC team to watch them shoot the visual identity for this year’s Sofitel Girls’ Day Out.

The final image captures the essence of celebrating Flemington with some of your girlfriends while taking in the atmosphere and ambience trackside.

The colours of the campaign are absolutely gorgeous and have certainly set the tone for what’s going to be huge in the fashion stakes during the Spring Racing Carnival in Melbourne in 2015.

Get your friends together and reacquaint yourself with amazing headwear, heels and horses at the Sofitel Girls’ Day Out, the day it’s OK to be a princess, on Saturday 12 September. The day will feature four Group races including the headline Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes.

Enjoy the fun, fashion and fillies at Flemington. A visit to Paris Lane is a must for all style lovers, a free retail precinct which features fashion, food and entertainment and is open to all racegoers.
