The Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo has wrapped up for another year, and I’m still on a high from the incredible day I spent celebrating inside the beautiful Alfa Romeo and Forever New marquees.

The Location
Held in the stunning Point Nepean National Park, Point Nepean feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne but is only 100kms from Melbourne CBD (or 90-120 minutes by car during the busy summer holiday season). The Polo ground is at the very tip of the Mornington Peninsula, and the views are simply incredible.
The Fashion
The first official event of the Melbourne social season, the Portsea Polo is the perfect opportunity to rock your favourite wedges, summer dresses and a cute hat or headscarf. Melbourne’s social set always nail a seriously high standard of ‘glam summer casual’, and we totally recommend grabbing your gang and dressing up!
I loved my gorgeous Forever New linen pantsuit I wore to this year’s event, and highly recommend going for loose and breezy casual glam too – plus definitely a sandal or wedge so you can stomp those divots in like a pro!
The Entertainment
World-class DJs, roaming bands, ‘Fashions on the Field’, and of course, a mid-game divot stomp – there’s so much fun to be had alongside enjoying the game. Don’t forget some seriously good celeb spotting, with a host of over 400 actors, models and bloggers gracing the Alfa Romeo Marquee (including my personal style crushes, Asher Keddie and Gracie Otto #dreamboats).
Along with the VIP marquees, there’s a variety of options to enjoy the day with you pals – from shaded enclosures to casual picnics, there’s something to suit everyone.
The Food
A great range of gourmet food and beverages is available to purchase on-site, or alternatively, treat yourself and book a ticket inside one of the marquees to experience a fully inclusive food and beverage service!
