Melbourne Spring Fashion Week

Friday 28 August to Friday 4 September

City of Melbourne proudly presents Melbourne Spring Fashion Week (MSFW), the premier fashion event of the season. Featuring both free and ticketed events, fashion week boasts a bold new direction in fashion and retail for 2015.

Established and emerging local designers, brands and retailers will dazzle and inspire as they reveal the new season styles. This year’s events program showcases the city’s vibrancy and highlights Melbourne’s passion for fashion and events.

 

Trailer Park at The Village

Every Saturday and Sunday this August

This August, Melbourne’s finest food trucks will be gathering again in The Village Garden for Trailer Park 2015! Each weekend will showcase food from a different continent and attendees will be able to vote to have their favourite truck of the week return for the Best Of Series during the last weekend of August.

Trailer Park at The Village is a FREE event running from 12pm – 8pm each day, featuring some of my favourite food trucks including Mr BurgerTaco Truck Melbourne and Hammer and Tong Food Truck.

Docklands Winter Festival Fireworks

Running until August 28th, 2015

Start your weekends with a bang this August with the FREE Friday night fireworks at Docklands.

With a fresh entertainment program every week, bring your family and friends along to enjoy a front row seat at one of the waterfront restaurants or bars. Alternatively, rug up and enjoy the show from New Quay Promenade.

 

Melbourne Writers Festival

20th – 30th August, 2015

Melbourne Writers Festival (MWF) embraces the widest possible range of writing, from Nobel Prize winners to mega-star bloggers.

MWF is Melbourne’s annual, two-week celebration for writers, readers and thinkers.
