Local traders in Meyers Place are taking part to bring the best of Latin America’s food and culture to Melbourne. There will be a variety of events the whole family can enjoy and visitors can take part in a free dance lesson or sit back and enjoy a variety of music and performances throughout the day.

Sunday 11 October

The Malaysian Street Festival is bringing a taste of Malaysian cuisine to Melbourne. Some of the top restaurants in Melbourne will be taking part.

The festival will run from 9am-4pm on Sunday 11 October at Queen Victoria Market and features a mix of family and kids activities, competitions and language and music workshops.

The exhibition, David Bowie is is currently showing at Melbourne’s ACMI. The retrospective, organised by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, is a non-chronological look at various key points of progression and divergence in Bowie’s career.

Brilliantly re-imagined by director Julie Taymor, The Lion King has been transformed into a spectacular theatrical experience.
