St Jerome’s Laneway Festival

On the weekend, Melbourne turned on the sunshine and I headed along to St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, with thanks to Visa Entertainment.

The sold out event saw 15,000 music lovers flock to the Footscray Community Arts Centre (FCAC) and The Rivers Edge for 12 hours of non-stop festival fun. Despite the event not actually happening in the famous Melbourne laneways, the venue was transformed to capture the narrow CBD streets. The crowd was bigger than ever, there were Markets, Pop-up restaurants and even a series of Laneway artworks and installations.

From the vintage Finders Keepers market stalls to the festival-goers wears, here is a photo journey of my day at #Laneway2014

Highlights for me included performances by Haim and Lorde on the Dean Turner Stage, delicious dumplings by Izakaya Den and Pierogo Pierogi, the fluoro poster garden and let’s not forget the fashion!

I was even lucky enough to head into the photographer pit to get some snaps when Chvrches blew up the sound system!
