RSPCA Million Paws Walk

RSPCA’s biggest fundraising event is back! Celebrating 20 years in Victoria, the Million Paws Walk is the most important event on the canine calendar.

The Melbourne walk will be held on Sunday 17th May at picturesque Albert Park and there are also 16 other walks across the state of Victoria including Ballarat, Geelong, Mornington Peninsula and Wangaratta.

GET INVOLVED - Melbourne Girl

Be sure to register yourself, friends and family to take part in the biggest dog walk in Australia. You don’t have to own a dog to participate, you just have to throw on your favourite sneakers and get set to support this wonderful cause, to help fight animal cruelty.

You can help raise vital funds for animals in need by walking on the 17th May and by setting up your own fundraising page. Fundraising is a great way to make every step count.

How will my registration fee and fundraising make a difference?

The RSPCA provides refuge to animals that are lost, abandoned or rescued from cruelty by our Inspectorate. Everything they can do to give each animal a second chance at happiness and this is only made possible with generous community support.

As a not for profit organisation, the RSPCA relies on community support to care for ‘all creatures great and small’. More than 90% of the RSPCA’s funding is due to the generous support of the Victorian community.

Highlights from last years event

As an added bonus this year, if you register online and create a fundraising page, you’ll receive a FREE RSPCA portable water bowl for your pooch!

Every dollar you raise will make a big difference and will help the RSPCA raise $500,000 to support their work with animals in need.

RSPCA Dogs - Melbourne Girl

While Australia is overwhelmingly a nation of animal lovers, unfortunately there are still some in our community who treat animals cruelly. The RSPCA is committed to helping those animals in need, including a continued effort to bring an end to cruel puppy farming.

As a dog owner myself, I’m so pleased that the RSPCA exists to help protect our fury friends. I’m sure you’ll agree that a dog is a valued family member (like many other pets) and they should receive nothing but love, security and care which all creatures on earth deserve.

This is a great event, so be sure to get involved with your friends!

Shout out below if you have registered.

Include a link to your fundraising page so our readers can support your wonderful efforts.

Have fun at the Million Paws Walk.
