Interesting to know you class Ballarat as a suburb of Melbourne considering Melbourians think its three hours from the city or some people have no idea where it is.

Hi Belinda, some of our writers live in Ballarat and work in Melbourne. In the world we live in today, we must cater for the people who live in Ballarat and/or who visit the beautiful town regularly 🙂

You must try ‘Top Paddock’, it’s on Church Street in Richmond. I only went once, with my mum (my sister had been and suggested it) as a special treat, but despite the slight queue to get in, it was good service, absolutely stunning & delicious food and I was so full afterwards from just one dish!
