Hugh Jackman – Broadway to Oz

This multi-million dollar arena production at Rod Laver Arena will showcase some of Jackman’s greatest successes, including The Boy from Oz and Les Miserables. The show takes audiences on a journey through Jackman’s life so far, from his early days in outback Australia to his vast musical theatre triumphs and to the first time he wielded the Wolverine claws in the blockbuster X-Men film franchise.

Australia’s first ever gin festival is popping up along the Yarra… Pilgrim Bar and newly refurbished Riverland Bar, of Federation Wharf, are set to quench the thirsts of Melbourne gin fans. Together West Wind Gins, they are hosting the city’s first dedicated gin festival, JUNIPERLOOZA.

Festival goers will enjoy pop-up gin stalls from nine specialty producers, gin inspired menus and roving entertainment at the atmospheric riverside hot spots.

 

Stir Frydays: Asian Food Truck Festival

Every Friday until 27 November, 2015

Stir up your #TGIF end of week plans at the Queen Vic Market’s ‘Stir Frydays’. A free event where you can explore an array of popular Asian street food, bars and live entertainment. You’ll discover a vibrant atmosphere, with a street full of Melbourne’s most popular Asian food trucks and carts – including Hammer and Tong, Hoy Pinoy and White Guy Cooks Thai.
